Music
Mackellar Girls Campus provides many opportunties for the students that have musical talents.
The 'Talented Music Program' is available to students that have a speciality in the musical field. There is an auditioning process to be involved in this program. For Year 6 students considering the talented music program, please see the link below.
Mackellar also has private tutors that work with the girls within the school day. This is organised with the Head Teacher of Creative Arts Mr B. Funnell.
The facilities at Mackellar include a piano room as well as a recording room. There are also computers dedicated to music and composing.
There are music camps each year that the girls have the opportunity to attend as well as a Music Showcase night for the girls to perform. Tickets can be bought at the door to the performance space and all public are welcome.
Mackellar also has a strong band that practices on a regular basis and performs at formal assemblies and competitions. To be involved, please see the link below which includes the 'Enrolment Form' and the 'Band Prospectus' all in one.
Mackellar students are also involved with the College Band which incorporates all 5 campuses together.
